Summer scheme Belfast – Smile Club – For boys and girls aged 4-14 – held at R.B.A.I. school. Age groups are 4-5, 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14. The age groups allow the children to participate alongside their peers and friends. Our groups also allow the children to work at the correct level of ability within on ability . This works particularly well for swimming and produces the best results in terms of stroke development. The variety and diversity of the activities also reflects each age group.
Smile Club dates confirmed for Monday the 15th July to 09th August 2019.
Smile club is a multi activity summer scheme located in the city centre of Belfast at R.B.A.I. school. Not many summer schemes in Northern Ireland have access to an onsite swimming pool. This is one of the many outstanding facilities the Belfast summer scheme can offer. The many activities of the scheme include sports, arts and crafts, ICT and cooking. There is also an early drop off and late pick up facility alongside all the activities for the children. During the course of the week all children will be offered a minimum of two swimming lessons. The classes will small in size and will include the group leaders and prefects helping so there will be lots of one on one support. Focus will be on front crawl and breast stroke. There will be some fun based activities too. The classes will cater for all abilities.
Very few summer schemes in Belfast can boast a city centre location with such outstanding facilities. These include a 25m swimming pool. Other facilities in which the belfast summer scheme has full of , are the double size sports hall, sixth form centre with kitchen and ICT area, front lawn and quad areas.
