RBAI’s ‘Smile Club’ is one of the top summer schemes in Belfast that your child can attend. The club takes place inside The Royal Belfast Academical Institution which is located in Belfast’s city centre.
Your child will get to experience a wide range of activities when they come along such as:
Activities
- Multiple sporting activities: football, rugby skills, basketball, badminton, netball, quick cricket and softball
- Swimming
- Arts & Craft
- ICT
- Cooking
- Singing
The school has a wide range of wonderful facilities enabling us to offer your child these great activities – one of those facilities being an indoor Swimming Pool which is taken advantage of and is always an enjoyable learning experience for the children! For those of you wondering about the size of the swimming pool its 25m long with a shallow end, as well as a deeper end at 2.5m. The children will receive expert swimming lessons which are available for all abilities and they will receive a minimum of two lessons throughout the week of the scheme.
To finish off this fun-filled week there is the annual Talent show where the children get to show off their hidden talents. Most, if not all, of the children take part in the show but there’s nothing to fear – it’s not compulsory (unlike the other activities) and those children not wishing to take part can watch and enjoy the show!

This scheme also has an early drop off and late pick up facility alongside all these activities, so parents what’s not to like? The dates for this year’s 2016 Smile Club are Monday 25th until Friday 29th July. The Scheme is for girls and boys between the ages 6-14 years old.
