Summer Scheme

Final Arrangements for the Smile Club Ni Multi Activity Summer Scheme at R.B.A.I. 2023

Scheme to be held from the 17th of July 2023. Information applies to children attending Week 1, Week 2 or Both Weeks.

I am sure all the children are very excited, as we are, for our Summer Scheme to
get under way!

Hopefully the weather will be great! As we have outstanding facilities all
around the school, we can offer additional different indoor activities if
required.

Children will be given FREE T-SHIRTS on the first day. Whatever the week booked.

Drop off and pick up arrangements

Front of School on College Square East, Parents can come right through the gates to the front of school.

Early drop off time are from 8.30 a.m.

The summer scheme activities will start at 9.30

Early pick up when activities finish is at 3.15 p.m.

Late pick up is at 5.00 p.m.

manned by a member of the R.B.A.I. ground staff. The hub of the scheme is
located in the 6th form centre.

available if any child wishes to purchase soft drinks and snacks. Please do not send children to the scheme with foods containing nuts.

A consent form must be completed and handed in on arrival
on the first morning. I will have some spares so don’t panic if you leave the
house without it. This can be found on the footer section of the website or click on link below.

Swimming

Please bring swimming kit each day. Although there will not be swimming every
day, we have the option of using our fantastic 25m swimming pool and holding
additional swim classes if the weather is poor outside.

Clothing and footwear

We will not be outside in any rainy or cold conditions, therefore suitable
clothing should be brought for many of the sporting activities. Trainers should
be brought. If it does happen to be very hot, please advice the child to bring
their own sun cream.

Trips – (All included)

Week 1 – Osborne Fun Day (Either Wednesday 26th / Thursday 27th July depending on weather)
Week 2 – Carnfunnock Country Park (Thursday 0th August)

Places available

We have lots of children attending our scheme. We could accommodate a couple
more if anyone has friends interested.

If anyone has any queries feel free to contact me at any point this week or indeed during the schemes! Tel : 02895 609330

Best Regards

Peter Sheppard / R.B.A. I. Summer scheme co-ordinator

A Perfect Summer at Smile Club
Sandra Wrobel
Smile Club was an absolute hit with my child! The camp was full of fun, engaging activities, and my child came home every day with big smiles and exciting stories. The ladies who run the camp were amazing—so warm, caring, and attentive. It was clear they truly love what they do, and it made all the difference. My child can't wait to return next summer. Highly recommend Smile Club for a fantastic, fun-filled experience!
Great!

My two children (7 & 9) were really happy to return for the whole summer. Staff were lovely and so welcoming. Great range of activities and they were exhausted st the end of each day!! They've asked if they can go back at Halloween because they enjoyed themselves so much!
Energy and Fun

Our 6 year old has been to a few camps now on recommendations from other parents and most importantly the kids! The children are met with energy and enthusiasm when they arrive and as a mum I appreciate the diligent admin and info that comes our way when booking.
Bangor Summer Camp

My two children (aged 7 & 5) were anxious about joining a summer club outside of the only one in Bangor that runs a full day camp. This one was excellent - the best all day camp in the area. Such a shame that it is only for 2 weeks in the summer. Well organised, varied, and fun. Would be great if there was more regular offerings of the sports/activities advertised on the flyers (or an update of available sporting options at diffierent sites). Keep up the great work!
Summer 2024 - fantastic

My two children attended the summer camp held in Bangor. Really good facilities at Bangor Grammar and the drop off and pick up times are excellent for working parents. Most importantly the kids had an absolute ball and are already asking to make sure I book them in next year. They were also very accommodating with my daughter who ended up in an arm cast during the summer. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
