Smile Club Ni have been running an outstanding Belfast Holiday scheme for many years at the Royal Belfast Academical Institution. The facilities at the school are second to none.
The activities range from all the sports to dance, drama, cooking and ICT. The children rotate around four different activities per day giving a range of opportunities and engagement.
Belfast Holiday Scheme
The holiday club runs throughout the year at the following times of the year. We operate:
- Half Term schemes
- Easter Schemes
- Halloween Scheme
The Halloween and Easter, Belfast holiday scheme, are themed. At Easter time we run Easter themed arts and crafts, egg hunts and more. At Halloween we have ghost stories, additional arts and crafts themed activities and Halloween cooking.
All of our Staff meet the following criteria:
- Relevant coaching qualifications / teaching qualifications
- Trained in our Health and Safety procedures
- Trained in our Child Care policies
- Access Ni vetted
- Experience working with children and young people
- Energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and great communicators
Each week Smile Club Ni holds a Talent show were children have the opportunity to perform live acts. This could be through a range of music, dance or drama performances. Performances are voluntary, build confidence and raise self-esteem.
We have use of computer suites with c2k filtered control. A range of fun and educational activities will be provided to help with basic ICT skills.
